Most times, situations of life leave us with so many options, then we embark on a journey to decipher the choice to make. 
The truth of the matter is that God will never struggle with man, because He has given us the free will of choice. And thus, a man is responsible for the choice(s) he makes. 
What defines a spiritual being is the expertise to see through God's lens in every situation. 

I got the inspiration to write this post while studying the book of Genesis chapter 13 and from there I see how the Lord enlarged the coast of Abraham and Lot. Their substances was so great that their habitation could no longer contain them. As a result, strife came up between the herdsmen of Abraham and lot.
To this end Abraham (being older and matured) proposed to Lot that they separate themselves so they could have better space to themselves.

When it was time to make a decision, in verse 10 we see that Lot lifted up His eyes and made a resolution based on what he saw and he pitched his tent towards Sodom. 
Also, we see that God instructed Abraham to lift up his eyes and see what He had prepared ahead for him and thereafter in verse 18, he moved to the plain of Mamre in Hebron.

Likewise in today's world it seems as though mental rigor has been the order of the day. Am I saying that man should not engage his thinking faculty (brain) to get solutions? NO! In fact one of the ways God speaks to us is through our thoughts. 
But a man can be only termed wise if he can see from God's perspective in every situation.


Ephesians 5:17 "Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is"

He (God) holds the manuscript of our life and all our becomings should cleave to Him. 

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. 

Situations might suggest to us as though we have an answer of our own just like Lot thought of how simple it was to choose a place of his desired habitation being greedy of a greenish plain of Sodom for himself and neglected the need to consult God.

Hence, as Children of God we should secure the intelligence of seeing from God's Lens per time. No situation is too small to leave God out of the equation!
