Time and the Assignment

Time is a reality of advantage given to us by God to fulfil purpose in this natural existence. It is like an idea, so simple that it is actually easy to forget, and yet complex that we cannot fully understand the mystery that unfolds it. Time is easy to waste, yet so precious to those running short on it.

Apparently, everyone of us is in the University College Hospital for a particular reason. Being in UCH at this moment is not a mistake and will never be. God has purpose for everything, He doesn't create anything for nothing. Each and everyone of us have been given certain assignment and it is expected of us to fulfil it in accordance to His own timing. It is highly rewarding to do things by God's own timing rather than our own timing.

Beyond achieving our ambitions, to what extent are we fulfilling that which God has called us to do in the land of UCH? It is high time we started giving ourselves to the process of fulfilling the very assignment. He has placed in our hands to actualize for His own glory, now that we still have the luxury of time.

Jesus said: I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work (John 9:4). The household of UCHCF is so structured in such a way that a man who is truly in sincerity with God would definitely find bearings to all facets of life as you would be taught how to become a complete man in Christ. We have been afforded all kinds of privileges to grow in the house. But all these trainings are only meant for a certain period of time before we are sent out there to continue to represent Him at another phase of assignment.

The long term vision of the house is “building the house unto maturity and making impacts upon the land". This vision goes alongside with what Matt. 4:19 says, Come, follow me, and I will MAKE you fishers of men.” The word “come" is the calling, the word “follow" and "make" implies the building or making process that one must need go through till He becomes skillful to be able to achieve the assignment God has called him into.

UCHCF has so much invested in us, to the extent that necessitate seeing Him glorified in all aspects of our lives, even in our future.

My advice to the house is that we should give ourselves to a consistent life of fellowship with the Father. Secondly, to discipleship, as it lays a good foundation and a better platform for accurate and constant building to achieving the essence of one's assignment in life. Then thirdly, a life sentenced to prayers, fastings and studying of God's Word.

If we keep these things, our profiting will appear unto all men and they will glorify God in us.

On this note, I would like to say a very big thank you to the household of UCHCF for being one of the major parts of my story during my sojourn in UCH.

I love you all!

We love you too and we will miss you in particular❣️
