BENEFITS OF WALKING WITH THE SPIRIT AND REASONS WHY WE NEED TO WALK WITH THE SPIRIT.

Gal 5:25 "if we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit"
Bible text:2corinthians 3:6, Romans 8:11

Jesus Christ was only able to successfully live as human on earth because of the holy Spirit with which he was baptized (Matthew 3:16-17).It was the holy spirit that gave life to this mortal body. 

One of the things our salvation experience does is to re-make, re-create and guide our spirit as we have been saved, and as a result of this , our spirit cannot fellowship with Gid without the spirit of God in us.

Walking and working with the spirit as true believers is the only option that we have The holy Spirit is the person who makes the Christian journey bearable and easy.
A Christian journey without the holy Spirit is practically impossible.As the holy Spirit is a living entity and not a force.
He tells us what to do,at what time to do them, He rebukes,chastises and comforts . Since the holy Spirit is God ,He would never direct us to do anything which is against his word in the scripture.
The benefits of walking with the spirit are numerous, but just to mention a few: 

1) As it is the holy Spirit alone that can help us walk the Christian Walk successfully, walking with Him, yeiding to him and following every instruction of this leads ultimately leads to living a fulfilled Christian Life.
2) Walking with the holy Spirit leads to a Victorious Christian Life.It is the power of the holy spirit working in us, which when we are tempted to commit sin,helps us to abstain and flee from such sins.
3) The holy Spirit renews our mind and transformation occurs.when we are saved, there is an invitation of the holy Spirit in our spirit lives but the moment in which there is the baptism of the holy Spirit in a man, the holy spirit is them given a blank cheque to begin to rule and dominante.As he does this, gradually our old passion and desires begin to want till we are totally changed into the same image of Christ
