I have had a lot of experiences as a member of Child Evangelism Unit, some funny and some inspiring. We go for Bible clubs and there are times the children would be so 'wonderful' (the opposite actually..lol). Sometimes, you wonder if everything you've been teaching has been entering their heads. But the fact is they are actually listening. There was this fateful day I asked a question about hearing God and a little boy told me "I hear him in my heart", he was really serious about it. That day was an highlight for me, knowing that the seeds sown are never wasted.

Another funny experience I had was after one Christmas party. The children were practically telling us that the gifts we gave were for babies and we should have gotten them wristwatches. I was just looking in wonder at their little mouths😂. Children are really smart, they grow faster than we can imagine.
In all of these, one important thing is about the heart of a child. Children are so simple, sincere and open to receive. When you share the gospel with them, they are eager to receive Christ. Even when you teach and pray for them to receive the Holy Spirit, most of them have that simple faith that they will receive, and for real, they actually do. We should learn to adopt faith like a child.

Mark.10.14 - The disciples shooed them off. But Jesus was irate and let them know it: "Don't push these children away. Don't ever get between them and me. These children are at the very center of life in the kingdom. [MSB]
